Hi, this is Robert Proctor with MultiSoft Corporation. I wanted to let you know about some recent changes that we’ve just implemented into your MarketPowerPRO MLM Software system, specifically in the shopping cart area regarding distributor registration and shopping cart agreements.

The following changes have come about because of requirements from the major credit card issuing companies, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as changes that are being required by the FTC.

When you go to Company > Registration Settings > Customer Registration Settings and > Distributor Registration Settings, you’ll see that we have added Terms and Conditions that you can now show during checkout. There is also a Refund Policy that you can now show during checkout as well as a Cancellation Policy, same thing, can be shown during checkout, a Shipping Policy that you can show during checkout, and a Policies and Procedures that you can show during checkout.

You’ll see that the content editor has been added for all of these new areas so you can edit all of the content that’s shown for the terms and conditions, the refund, the cancellation, the shipping, the policies, and procedures, as well as mail merge it so you don’t have to re-enter the company name or the address or phone numbers or emails when these items are changed in the company which happens every now and then; you put it in once and you’re done.

You’ll see that in addition to confirming age in the checkout page, you now have a cancellation policy showing, the refund policy, the terms and conditions and the shipping policy.  These are merged right into the shopping cart checkout and distributor enrollment process, so you can change the refund days to three days or seven days, etc., as well as you can mail merge all the variables such as your company phone, your email, etc. You’ll also notice that when you click the links for each of these there are pop-up showing all the content that was just added/edited by you.

This change was extremely important and we wanted to get this out to you as quickly as possible for you to update in order maintain your merchant account/payment gateway compliance. The major credit card companies along with the FTC are requiring some if not all of these changes due to fraud in order to decrease your liability, reduce charge-backs as well as increase customer confidence and customer retention. These new enhancements will also decrease the amount of refunds going to your customers and commission claw-backs to your distributors.
